Gunmen kill aid worker

MOGADISHU: Seven gunmen shot dead Irish aid worker Ms Valery Price near the western Somali town of Afgoi yesterday, witnesses said.

And at least seven people were killed and 21 wounded yesterday in five hours of fighting between Somali militias in the southern port of Kismayu, the US military command announced. Colonel Fred Peck said the multinational force led by the United States had imposed an overnight curfew in the city.
