Blocking exit

Has all civility and order left Hong Kong? Each day as I leave my apartment block, I am forced to walk in the middle of the street by construction vehicles working on a nearby building.

The truck often parks directly in front of my lobby, filling it with exhaust fumes and making it nearly impossible to exit the building. Not to mention the rubbish left behind after each work day.

Shouldn't contractors be required to set up safe pathways for people when pavements have been blocked? It seems to me that the Government has become so eager to promote new developments that it has forgotten to protect the rights of the public. I urge the appropriate agency to look into the mess on Sands Street in Kennedy Town.
