English techno and rock duo The Chemical Brothers are set to storm the Hong Kong market with their second album, Dig Your Own Hole.
Since releasing their debut album Exit Planet Dust more than 18 months ago, Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands have become one of the biggest dance acts in Britain.
However, the abrasiveness of their music has met with resistance from conservative Hong Kong radio stations.
Dig Your Own Hole will make the critics sit up and listen. The Chemical Brothers have created a cauldron of acid house, hip-hop and pop, taking their mostly instrumental music to the masses.
The duo is still notching up huge sales - to everyone from clubbers to students, skate-kids to metal-heads.
Exit Planet Dust has racked up British sales of 235,000 and sold almost 175,000 in the United States. Worldwide sales are approaching 500,000, according to their record company, Virgin.
Their three singles - Loops of Fury, Leave Home and Life Is Sweet - have sold a total of about 70,000.
