Dancers dressed as Greek priestesses heralded the opening of Yan Chai Hospital Lim Por Yen Secondary School's two open days.
The dancers pulled back curtains on the main hall's stage to reveal the school's 15th anniversary logo and a mosaic picture of the school.
A lighting-up ceremony was conducted by guests-of-honour, school benefactor Lim Por-yen and District Officer Gavin Ure.
A welcoming speech was given by Gloria Ng Wong Yee- man, chairwoman of Yan Chai Hospital's board of directors.
School manager Lam Kin-ming presented 21 staff with long service awards.
The official ceremonies were followed by a medley of student performances, including dance, the choir singing Flying Free and colourful placards.
'The aim is to build a formal atmosphere yet embody joy, anticipation and free spirit,' said a spokesman.
