THE Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has signed a global marketing agreement with British Airways to become part of the BA Executive Club Programme. The deal is expected to increase the hotel's exposure to an audience of more than 700,000 Executive Club members worldwide. ''It will create additional awareness of our luxury hotel brand,'' said Mr Neil Hucksteppe, group sales and marketing director of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. Executive Club members will be entitled to earn ''air miles'' when staying at any Mandarin Oriental hotel as well as receiving additional special benefits and award opportunities. Air miles are awarded each time an Executive Club member travels on BA or utilises the services of the airline's marketing partners. The air miles collected can also be redeemed at Mandarin group hotels.
