Individuals face suit on shadow body

The Democratic Party's lawsuit against the provisional legislature will target the shadow body's members, vice-chairman Albert Ho Chun-yan said yesterday.

But Mr Ho, a solicitor, would not reveal who would be the target.

'We have decided to sue people representing the provisional legislature. We will publicise our case once we get legal aid,' he said.

Mr Ho said the case was in the interests of the interim body.

'If we win our case, at least they will understand there are problems with their operation so they can do something about them,' Mr Ho said.

He said the applicant who sought legal assistance met legal aid requirements.
