France's Compagnie Maritime d'Affretement has joined the Far Eastern Freight Conference.

 CMA said this underscored its conviction that co-operation was improving in the Far East-North Europe trade.

 The Asia-Europe service, is renewing its fleet, replacing 3,600 teu (20 ft equivalent unit) vessels with 4,000 teu newbuildings.
