Eight teenagers to face court on murder count

Eight teenagers, including two girls, were charged with murder last night after a 15-year-old boy was allegedly beaten to death in Sau Mau Ping Estate on Wednesday night. The eight, all aged between 15 and 17, will appear in Kwun Tong Court this morning.

Three other youths were being detained overnight for further inquiries. Detectives scoured a landfill in Ta Kwu Ling for the body of Luk Chi-wai, which they believe was dumped there after being hidden in rubbish in Sau Mau Ping.
