SCMP Reporter

The Hong Kong Netball Association (HKNA) runs summer courses for youngsters wishing to learn how to play the game.

  These courses are open to females aged 12 to 21.

  The venue is the Hong Kong Park Indoor Games Hall.

  Four classes are planned for 1997 - three introductory courses and one intermediate.

  A competition between participants will be held at the end of each course.

  The beginners' courses run from July 23 to August 15 on Wednesdays and Fridays.

  The hours are 10 am to noon and from 2 pm to 4 pm (Hong Kong Park).

   Deadline for entries is July 7.

  The intermediate-level course will be held every Saturday from July 5 to August 16 (hours: 10 am to noon) at the Hong Kong Park Indoor Games Hall.

  Deadline for entries is June 21.
