Thyssen Haniel Logistics is to open several offices this year to boost its presence in Asia.

The Dusseldorf-based company predicts revenue growth of 20 per cent this year.

Peter Landsiedel, newly appointed regional director for East Asia, said the company planned to open offices in Guangzhou, Xiamen, Qingdao and Shenzhen this year.

It already has representative offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin and Dalian.

'As China alone accounts for 50 per cent of our regional business, our strategy is to put more resources in this region,' he said.
