INTERNATIONAL recognition of Hongkong Sports Institute head coach Kwok Ka-ming has come in the shape of his appointment as a member of FIFA's Technical Study Group for next month's soccer World Youth Championship in Australia.

Kwok is the first Hongkong official to take up the post and joins other soccer experts from Argentina, Australia and the FIFA technical committee.

His role will include responsibility for all technical matters for one of the four groups of competing teams.
