A spurned woman tried to have her own home burgled to frame her ex-boyfriend, a court heard yesterday. Ma Pui-ying, 29, in the District Court, accused Angela Law Kam-yuk, 32, of threatening to harm her and her boyfriend on their wedding day if she did not steal something from Ms Law's flat in Chung Wah Estate, Chai Wan, which could then be used to frame him. The police found Ma in the flat with a bag containing articles belonging to Ms Law, including a gold necklace, a crystal ball, and cash. Ma denies burglary. The trial continues before Deputy Judge Patrick Lim.
