Software company Micrografx is targeting business users in Asia with the launch of double-byte enabled versions of its products.
The firm, which claims to be the leading graphics software company in Japan, will initially focus on Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
Micrografx general manager Grant Wickes said the company aimed to educate users and businesses that they could communicate more effectively by adding graphics.
He said the transport, electronics, architecture, banking and insurance sectors would be targeted by the firm.
Micrografx' Graphics Suite 2.0 and FlowCharter 7.0 products will be at the core of its Asian marketing drive.
Graphics Suite offers applications such as charting, technical illustration, 3D graphics and clip-art management.
