A SENIOR security officer of A. S. Watson appeared in South Kowloon Court charged with offering a bribe in return for details of Vitasoy's distilled water operations.

No plea was taken from Jimmy Leung Sik-keung, 34, who is charged with offering a monthly reward of between $3,000 and $5,000 between October 19 and 31 last year to a driver of Vitasoy International Holdings as an inducement to provide details of Vitasoy's distilled water operations.

Magistrate Mr Richard Davies adjourned the case until March 11 for defence lawyers to study documents.
