Singapore Airlines' cargo load factor, a key measure of how efficiently it uses its air freight capacity, fell 0.8 percentage points in April to 67.5 per cent.

The national carrier's load factors for April were lower than expected, said Nua We Boon, an analyst at Fraser Securities.
The drop in cargo load factor could be due to a 'huge injection of cargo capacity during the month of April to capitalise on a strong recovering cargo market', especially in North Asia and Europe, he said.
