A syndicate forging Vietnamese refugee identity cards was broken by New Territories detectives. Six people found in the two factories - one in a photographic shop in Tin Lok Lane, Wan Chai and one in a nearby flat - were arrested.

 More than 100 forged cards were seized and 15 Vietnamese illegal immigrants also arrested in the raids which involved 160 officers and followed a month-long investigation.
