AA SURCHARGE, composed of management from the Airport Authority, scooped the South China Morning Post Perpetual Trophy and a cash prize of $25,000 yesterday when the team came top in the Hong Kong Management Game 1997. The winners were pitted against a second team from the Airport Authority, two teams from the Mass Transit Railway Corp, and others from Arthur Anderson, China Light and Power, KPMG Peat Marwick, Wyeth (Hong Kong), Price Waterhouse and Coopers and Lybrand. The competition is aimed at training executives in a range of management skills. The team now goes on to challenge the competition in the Regional Management Game in Perth. Sponsors of the event, which has been running for more than 20 years, also include Arthur Anderson, ICL (Hong Kong) and Cathay Pacific Airways.
