Fifteen-year-olds Liem Le and Nitay Lilley found the body of an elderly man wedged in the rocky sea cliff of remote Tung O Wan late on Sunday afternoon.
Police said the unidentified man was aged 60 to 65.
Liem said they saw the mangled carcass of a pink dolphin near a cave shortly before finding the body.
'We found something bigger and when we realised it was human we freaked out and ran back to call police,' he said, adding the man might have been caught by the rising tide.
