Investment company Regent Pacific Group, which listed last month, said it earned net profit of $238.45 million for the year to March. This was up 43 per cent from a year earlier and represented a 52 per cent return on equity. Earnings per share were 25.7 cents on a fully-diluted basis. The proposed final dividend is 8.25 cents. Chairman Jim Mellon said he was confident of achieving the profit forecast of at least $200 million for the six months to September.
