You bought the T-shirt, stood in the rain to watch the fireworks, and survived the extra house guests - now buy the handover video.

Hong Kong is about to be swamped by a flood of commemorative video souvenirs.

CNN, CNBC, TVB and the China News Service are to release packages.

The BBC and ATV have said they are thinking about it.

All will include extracts from the respective companies' handover coverage and are expected to be made available in some form in the next few months.

CNBC public relations manager Irena Masiulanis said a video would capture the power of the event.

'My feedback has been about how emotional the images were,' she said.
