OH to be a fly on the wall this morning when Winnie Yu, general manager of Commercial Radio, calls her bank manager.
The lively radio boss ordered out all her management staff to Victoria Park yesterday, where they participated in a walkathon staged by World Vision - a charitable organisation involved in raising funds for Third World projects.
As an additional sop to get her hard-working staff out of bed on a Sunday morning, Ms Yu - in a moment of rash benevolence, we feel - offered to sponsor every member of her management team who completed the walk to the tune of $5,000.
Her generosity didn't stop there. She even offered a further $5,000 to the first person from Commercial Radio to complete the walk.
As 10 of her big-hearted management team were present and correct at Victoria Park to put their best feet forward, we feel Ms Yu might be crying all the way to the bank.
But at least it will be tears shed for a worthy cause.
