The TV spots were produced by J Walter Thompson. The campaign will be supported by extensive advertising and promotions in Chinese newspapers and entertainment weeklies running until August 21. Bates China has launched an extensive campaign for Nokia cellular phones in the mainland. The campaign involves one 60-second and two 30-second commercials and media buying on 59 television stations throughout China. The campaign is supported by both print advertisements and point-of-sales merchandise. Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, Bates Advertising has launched the compilation CD World Music Horizons in conjunction with BMG HK. The CD, featuring David Bowie's first-ever single in Putonghua, will promote the forthcoming Heineken Music Horizons annual concert in Hong Kong.
