Businessmen stabbed at restaurant pay-off

Two Hong Kong businessmen were stabbed in outside a restaurant in Guangzhou. Lee Chi-ming, 30, requested to return to Hong Kong for treatment while his partner, surnamed Kong, 40, remained in the Guangzhou hospital.

Mr Lee, who sells mobile telephones, had collected $100,000 from a customer when they were confronted by a gang of 10 men armed with knives and handguns. They stole the $100,000 plus $10,000 the pair had on them and a watch worth $80,000.
