Chinese set four world records

Yangzhou: Chinese weightlifters broke five world records en route to nine golds on day two of the Asian Championships yesterday.
Wan Jianhui shattered the snatch world record with a lift of 163 kilograms on his way to gold in all three disciplines in the men's 70-kg class, the official Xinhua news agency reported.
Yang Xia won two gold medals in the women's 54 kg category, setting a new snatch world record of 93.5 kg. Yang's combined total of 207.5 kg was also a world's best.

Meanwhile, Liu Xiuhua won the clean and jerk in the 54 kg category with a world record lift of 115.5 kg. And Chen Xiaomin lifted 107.5 kg to break the snatch mark in the 64-kg category.
