HAVE you heard of ''guaranteed next day'' parcel delivery service? It has been in Hongkong for two years in the form of SKD Parcel Service.
And, according to the company, it is here to stay.
SKD, which was officially launched in May 1991 at its premises in Fanling, grew threefold last year compared with its first year in business in the territory.
But company director Mr Colin Ngan said the company had still not broken even, although it eventually would.
The company, which started out with 30 vans, is planning to purchase another 15 as the business grows.
''We have to slowly build up our clientele,'' he said, admitting that the market was competitive.
SKD, which employs over 100 people, is planning to install a computer system with tracking facilities to improve its efficiency.
