A positive attitude and a good study environment are essential to success, says Wallace Yu Ka-hung who earned five distinctions in this year's Hong Kong Advanced Level Examinations.
Ka-hung, the first Tuen Mun Government Secondary School pupil to score five, was awarded A(1)s in Pure Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry; and A(2)s in Chinese Language and Culture [AS] and Use of English [AS].
After receiving the good news, he went for lunch with his friends to celebrate.
'It was a delightful surprise for me when I received my results,' Ka-hung said.
He believes learning and study are long-term projects involving a lot of hard work.
Ka-hung now plans to study actuarial science at the University of Hong Kong (HKU) or the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
