Ngai Lik Industrial Holdings has cut its dividend payment despite achieving a 33.2 per cent rise in net profit to $73.4 million for the year to March 31 from $55.12 million last year. Directors recommended a final dividend of 1.5 cents, bringing the annual payout to 2.5 cents. This represented a 61.5 per cent drop from the 6.5 cent full-year dividend paid in preceding year. Operating profits rose to $76.79 million from $55.32 million on a turnover of $1.65 billion. Earnings per share were 9.3 cents each.
