The Hong Kong Tourist Association's Student Ambassador Programme is celebrating its 30th birthday.
More than 30,000 students have played their part in spreading the good word about the territory.
A half-day reunion seminar will be held on August 4 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. All past and present ambassadors, as well as students interested in joining, are invited.
The scheme is aimed at equipping those studying overseas with information and skills necessary to promote the territory among foreigners.
The seminar will feature an address by Professor Kai Ming- cheng, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the University of Hong Kong.
A Tourist Association spokesman said: 'This event is particularly important because of Hong Kong's changed status following the handover.' The seminar will be followed by a buffet dinner. For details, call 2807 6552.
