Brady will consider a name change -if the price is right
Birmingham City's managing director, Karren Brady, is willing to change the English club's name to attract sponsorship.
'I would be prepared to change the name of the club and I think that is the way most clubs are going,' Brady told BBC television.
Birmingham are determined to return to the top flight of English soccer for the first time since the 1980s.
Brady said a name change could put the club on a stronger financial footing.
'We would change the name, either of St Andrews or Birmingham City,' she said.
'That would be something which is going to happen with such partnerships in future - and I hope it happens.' Birmingham City have changed their name several times in the past, with the most recent mutation coming in 1945 when they added the City to what had been just Birmingham.
