Olitec moves into mainland

French modem maker Olitec says it has signed a contract with the mainland's biggest distributor, which is present in 23 provinces. It did not give the financial terms of the agreement or name the company. The contract is Olitec's second in China - it is already present in computer chains in Hong Kong. Olitec also has partnerships with Netscape Communications and other international companies. Shares in the company have more than tripled since they began trading on France's Nouveau Marche for small companies in February.
