I REFER to the letter headlined ''People led up the garden path'' by Chu Ka-wai (South China Morning Post, February 15).
Perhaps the correspondent has seen too many of those television shows or films where fung shui is made to look ridiculous. I agree that fung shui has no scientific basis, but it does deserve to be given serious consideration.
There are many scholars in this area, whose books can be found in libraries and bookshops. They have worked hard throughout their lives to understand fung shui and can provide a great deal of expert information to prove their arguments.
Just as there as sceptics in fung shui, so there are in Chinese medicine, but how many of us have at one time or another, resorted to Chinese medicine? Fung shui does not harm or bother anyone.
