A 44-year-old man had sex with a mentally handicapped woman with the intelligence of an 11-year-old, the District Court heard yesterday.
Building surveyor Wu Kin-fai met the 22-year-old woman in a street in Mongkok in January last year, and took her to his home, where they had sex, prosecutor Joseph Stevenson said.
On the evening of April 6 last year, the woman again met Wu in a street in Mongkok. The defendant was said to have taken her home, where she told him she was unhappy because of her mental disability.
The court heard that Wu then had sex with her.
After that, the defendant allegedly gave the woman $250 and a note with a pager number and the name 'Raymond' written on it.
The following day, the woman arranged to meet him to return the $250, but he refused to take the money, the court heard.
