Chim Pui-chung, one of 10 provisional legislator members in the newly formed Friendly League, said while the Chief Executive was inclined to consider ending the policy, 'he was worried about reaction from other parts of the world and whether it would be so easy to collect the $1.1 billion debt from the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.' Mr Chim and seven other provincial legislators - Ngai Shiu-kit, Ngan Kam-chuen, Choy Kan-pui, Kan Fook-yee, Lau Kong-wah, Lau Wong-fat and Tang Siu-tong - attended yesterday's meeting with Mr Tung.
