Six people were injured when a gas explosion wrecked a Macau restaurant yesterday.
A butane leak in the kitchen caused the blast and a fire at the Estabelecimento de Portuguesa Porto Exterior in the Outer Harbour district.
Seven cleaners were in the kitchen and three electricians working in the dining area. Four of the injured were treated and discharged from hospital. The other two were in stable condition.

The blast cracked walls, shattered glass panels and littered the pavement with glass and chairs. A motorcyclist who was riding past was blown over.
Police said the explosion was an accident.
