Garment firm profits rocket

Yangtzekiang Garment Manufacturing saw profits rise 117.91 per cent to $6.88 million for the year to March 31. Turnover rose 15.58 per cent to $889.58 million, while operating profit increased 74.33 per cent to $13.29 million for the period. Earnings per share were 4.9 cents, from 2.2 cents a year ago.
