Don't be stingy over air-cons

I agree with your correspondent E. Bolloni (South China Morning Post, August 8), that the Star Ferry should leave the air-conditioning on more often in its vessels during this very hot and humid weather.

This is particularly important during inclement weather, because when it is raining, ferry staff close all the windows. And when will the company ban eating and drinking from its ferries in line with other public transport operators? K.Y. TSUI Kowloon
