HOLIDAY-MAKERS can slash hundreds of dollars off the cost of their travel insurance by shopping around for the cheapest cover.
The level of cover - and exemptions - varies widely between policies, so care must be taken when choosing the right policy.
A review of policies on offer reveals that savings of up to one-third of the cost of cover can be found.
But those seeking the cheapest rates should remember that the wrong cover at the right price is poor value.
