Two schoolgirls were lured into a sex trap by a stranger posing as an official with the power to punish them for petty crimes, a jury heard yesterday.
The first victim, an 11-year-old, was confronted by the man in a Tai Po street after dropping a tissue on the ground.
Prosecutor Liu Yuen-ming said the stranger told her he was from the Urban Council and accused her of breaking the law by littering.
He sat her down and said she should be fined. But he then proposed to 'help her' by offering an alternative.
Mr Liu said the man said he had a colleague who was suffering from kidney disease. He asked the girl to provide a urine test to 'find out the compatibility of her kidneys'.
She was taken to a public toilet for the 'test'. But he raped her as soon as he had got her into a cubicle, the court heard.
The girl, now 13, gave evidence by television link. She told the jury she had been very frightened during the attack. She had closed her eyes and tried unsuccessfully to push the man away.
