Award-winning young producer and composer Mark Lui Chung- tak waved his magic wand for his favourite singers Leon Lai and Kelly Chen last year, which won him critical acclaim with the local media.
He has done it again with his own band, Dry, which he formed a year ago with guitarist Stephen Fung Tak-lun.
Thousands of enthusiastic fans waving bunches of flowers and armed with whistles flocked to the Baptist University's Academic Community Hall where Dry's debut concert was held recently.
Organised by Ultimate 903 of Commercial Radio, the inaugural 'Dry Are Always With You' concert showcased the band's talent and officially established their fan club.
In addition to belting out their latest hits, the two-member band also played some fun games with the audience. Lui and Fung acknowledged that there were few opportunities for local bands to play live, but said they would grab every chance because they enjoyed performing live gigs.
The two gifted guitarists are confident of keeping their creative juices flowing to please their growing number of fans.
