THE banyan trees in Sports Road, Happy Valley, must be saved. Linda Siddall (South China Morning Post, March 2) is absolutely right. How and why can the Jockey Club get away with destroying these magnificent trees? The felling of these trees just for a few extra metres of racetrack would be wrong. NAME AND ADDRESS SUPPLIED
