Falco, now playing for English non-league side Worthing, was due to arrive in Hongkong tomorrow to join Kitchee's two other foreign signings, former England winger Mark Barham and Damian Webber.

But he telephoned Kitchee officials yesterday saying he had suffered an injury to his left knee.

Kitchee have now turned their attentions to 30-year-old forward John Reilly who last season played with Scottish First Division side Dunfermline Athletic.
