SCMP Reporter

A YOUNG schoolgirl fell to her death from her 24th-floor flat in Yiu On Estate, Sha Tin, last night.

  Residents discovered the girl lying on the second-floor podium of Yiu Shun Building at about 9 pm. She was taken to Prince of Wales Hospital and certified dead on arrival.

  Police were told that the Form Four student's parents had scolded her earlier in the day after finding a packet of cigarettes in her school bag.
