MUI reports eightfold surge

MUI Hong Kong has reported its interim profit surged eightfold to $8 million in the first six months, despite a modest 12.9 per cent rise in turnover to $604.23 million. Earnings per share were 0.87 cent. No interim dividend will be paid.
