Siemens (China) plans to set up an interface network production joint venture in Chengdu's Hi-Tech Development Zone with an initial investment of US$30 million, Xinhua reported.

It said Siemens had also formed a hydropower department in Chengdu to prepare for establishing a joint-venture hydropower equipment production company.
