Sui Chong earnings plummet

Profit at property firm Sui Chong Holdings plummeted for the six months to June to $784,000, from $14.7 million in the same period last year. Turnover dwindled to $24 million from $335 million. The company posted a loss of $676,000 compared with a profit of $16.4 million before exceptional items. Loss per share was down from 6.8 cents to 0.36 cents. No interim dividend will be paid.
