Time Warner has launched a media campaign to rebuild the international image of Thailand abroad.
Entitled 'Thailand: On the Road to Recovery', the campaign aims to highlight the country's plans for economic recovery in the wake of the devaluation of the baht.
Spearheaded by the Board of Investment (BOI) representing Thai businesses in both the private and public sector, the promotion was reportedly backed by US$3 million from the Thai Government.
The Time Warner campaign features print advertisements in global publications Asiaweek, Fortune and Time as well as President (Japan) and Sawasdee, Thai Airways in-flight magazine.
CNN International has started airing a 15-second commercial which will run to December in Europe, the United States and Asia. The spots were produced by local company Emphasis.
The BOI had been looking for a single entity to advance its marketing plans.
