Tomei International (Holdings) has staged a turnaround in the six months to June, earning an attributable profit of $26.13 million compared with a loss of $31.57 million in the half last year. Turnover was $2.07 billion up slightly from $2.05 billion. Directors attriburted the improvement to increased sales by original equipment manufacturing sales. No interim payout has been declared. Earnings per share were 1.54 cents compared with a loss of 2.74 cents.
