Three tenants forged their landlord's ID card and remortgaged a rented Kwai Chung flat, Western Court heard. Yuk Hong-lan, 35, Veronica Ling, 38, and Lee Kam-wah, 35, faced a joint charge of conspiring to defraud Allied Treasure Investment.

 They allegedly remortgaged a flat at Wonderland Villas, Kwai Chung, through solicitors Joseph Chu and C P Chung by claiming they were the landlords. The court heard they intended to sign a loan application and collect a $2.98 million cheque. The case was adjourned.
