POLICE in Tuen Mun have arrested three teenagers in connection with four recent school burglaries. Four boys, all school drop-outs aged 16 and 17, were stopped by officers in a subway near On Ting Estate at 5.10 am yesterday. They ran off when police tried to question them but three of them were caught after a short chase. Police seized biscuits and drinks believed to have been stolen from a technical school at nearby Siu Lun Street. Also found in their possession were electric drills, welding equipment, screwdrivers and spanners believed to have been stolen from the school's workshop. Detective Senior Inspector David Cheng Kam-chuen said it was believed they had committed at least three other school burglaries.
