Clarification

I refer to your news report headlined, 'Airport bus scheme to cover for MTR delay', where reference was made to the MTR Corporation chairman Jack So Chak-kwong (South China Morning Post, September 30).

I would like to clarify that during the press interview on September 29, Mr So did not say the MTRC was reluctant to commit more funds to speed up the work because of doubts the airport would open on schedule.
